Fish Tacos

Here we are in Nebraska for Spring Break.  Our first delicious dinner:

La C's Fish Tacos (for around 12-16 tacos) - people like to eat two or three...

Cabbage Salad/Slaw:
1/2 medium - small cabbage -finely sliced
2 carrot shredded or julienned
2 green onions sliced finely
1 ample table spoon of capers plus a little caper juice (add more later OR salt to taste)
A couple of spoonfuls of white wine vinegar

Fish Taco:
6-8 fish (tilapia fillets) dredged in flour and fried in canola/veggie oil until lightly browned
small pinch of salt on each fish after frying
warmed tortillas

Dressing/Crema:
1/2 cup sour-cream
stir with milk to thin (a couple of tablespoons)
add some cumin (1/2 to 1 tspn, to your taste)
teaspoon of chile powder
add some hot sauce for flavor
(taste until it suits your palette)

Place the fish and slaw within the taco.  Add the the dressing and fresh cilantro.  Eat...

The fish tacos good because of the combination of the foods. Cook it. This is worth is.
